About the Windings
The Windings Home Owners Association (WHOA) is incorporated as a nonprofit organization to promote the safety and well being of the residents and to maintain and improve property values. The association owns and maintains the recreational facilities and common grounds. The Homeowners Association is the definition of fiscal responsibility, with a balanced annual budget and a strong capital reserve conservatively invested.
Our Governance
The association membership consists of the 380 homeowners in the community. The WHOA is managed by a nine member board of directors. Board members are elected by the membership for a three year term. Our covenants and Architectural guide provide the guidelines by which our great community is governed. As a good neighbor resident you should also be aware of the Kane County Nuisance Ordinance.
The Board of Directors manages the following committees:
- landscape & maintenance,
- safety & security,
- clubhouse rentals,
- swimming pool,
- social activities,
- architectural review,
- publicity,
- covenant compliance,
- soil conservation & woodland management.
