About the Windings
Windings HomeOwners Association (WHOA) is incorporated as a nonprofit organization to promote the safety and well being of the residents and to maintain and improve property values . The association owns and maintains the recreational facilities and common grounds. The Homeowners Association is the definition of fiscal responsibility, with a balanced annual budget and a strong capital reserve conservatively invested.
Our Governance
The association membership consists of the 380 homeowners in the community. The WHOA is managed by a nine member board of directors. Board members are elected by the membership for a three year term. Our covenants and Architectural guide provide the guidelines by which our great community is governed. As a good neighbor resident you should also be aware of the Kane County Nuisance Ordinance.
The Board of Directors manages the following committees:
- landscape & maintenance,
- safety & security,
- clubhouse rentals,
- swimming pool,
- social activities,
- architectural review,
- publicity,
- covenant compliance,
- soil conservation & woodland management.
