Caring for Windings Common Areas in 2016 REPORT: 2016 work included ravine erosion survey, culvert repair, education, invasive plant removal, and collaborations with Campton Township, Kane County Environmental and Water Resources Division, the Army Corp of Engineers and the Kane County Forest Preserve. Ferson Creek Watershed Restoration Update 2015 REPORT: 2015 work included the Ferson Creek Watershed Restoration project, including securing grant funds from Kane County conservation districts, stabilizing ravines and correcting erosion along Ferson Creek, removing invasive shrubs that contribute to erosion, and articles to educate the community. Stream Erosion Surveys 2015 REPORT: Environmental Committee members surveyed stream erosion in the Windings to identify problem areas causing  property damage and affecting water quality. (October 10, 2015)
